Last night at our Concert of English Music with Peter Stark, ERSO were proud to present the very first winner of our ERSO Soloist of the Year Competetion, Callie Brennan.
Audience and orchestra alike were transfixed by this young musician’s wonderful performance of the fiendishly hard Walton Violin concerto.
Nobody watching the incredibly accomplished and confident performance would believe that this was in fact Callie’s first time playing a concerto with an orchestra. We are pretty sure that it won’t be the last and we are so glad that we were able to give her this opportunity!
