We ask that players (other than music students) pay Members’ Donations (which most other orchestras refer to as “subs”).
If this would cause you financial hardship, we would ask that you pay the nominal concession rate of £1 per month via standing order.

Remember that these are suggested levels of donation and that some players choose to pay greater or smaller amounts
How do I pay?
- The preferred method is electronic transfer to Music Illuminated (sort code 089299, account 65050778). Remember to include your name in the “Reference” field.
- You can pay by card at rehearsals.
- You can also pay by cash or by cheque (to “Music Illuminated”) but this is not preferred.
Increase your donation at no extra personal cost!
As Music Illuminated is a registered charity we are able to reclaim income tax paid on subscription donations. We can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate so a donation of £25 a concert would be worth £31.25 to ERSO at no extra cost to you.
