Since joining Guildhall in September 2021, I’ve been involved with the Young Musician’s Symphony Orchestra and multiple Guildhall projects including performing with the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra. Before this, during 2019-2021, I studied at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester. During 2020 and 2021, I was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (NYOGB) and I served as Creative Collective for the trombone section. I was also chosen to participate in the semi-final of the 2020 Young Brass Awards (although unfortunately, the event was postponed because of the pandemic). Whilst studying at Chetham’s, I was selected for the final of the Concerto competition and commissioned a Euphonium Concerto with the Chetham’s Symphony Orchestra. I also took part in a huge number of events and masterclasses whilst studying at Chetham’s and at Guildhall. During the summer of 2019, I was appointed principal euphonium player of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB), and in November 2018, I performed with them and the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) at the Barbican Centre commissioning a new work by James MacMillian. In addition, I have played alongside the Hallé Orchestra and English National Ballet and I’ve performed under conductors such as Gianandrea Noseda, Bramwell Tovey, Martyn Brabbins, Ben Gernon, Holly Mathieson and more. As an arranger, my work has been performed across the country, at venues such as the Royal College of Music, the Stoller Hall, and other places.
