Ethan McInerney is a trumpeter currently based in London and in his final year of studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where he is a Beatrice Taylor Scholar. Here he is taught by Andy Hendrie. He is very interested in orchestral music, especially in the film music genre and wants to be a session musician recording on soundtracks!

During his degree he has been a part of the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra, brass band, the 80s Symphony Orchestra, and some performances as part of a historically informed brass ensemble on the natural trumpet. Outside of this he has played with many ensembles including the London Film Music Orchestra, the West End’s Sweet Charity pit band, the I Maestri Orchestra and Ned Dylan’s live pop band (supporting the Zutons), as well as doing gigs for many orchestras around London. Ethan has played in many prestigious places around the world including the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, Disneyland LA, the Swanbourne Music Festival, and the Los Angeles 2015 Special Olympics opening ceremony.
Outside of playing the trumpet, Ethan loves to compose music to film and is passionate about bringing film music to people who wouldn’t normally listen to it.
In his free time, he loves watching the F1, gaming and playing basketball!
