During 2017/18 we will work with a shortlist of conductors with the aim of appointing a new Principal Conductor to follow in the footsteps of our previous Principal Conductors, Peter Stark and Paul Hoskins.

We are also delighted to be working with Mark Shanahan  who will be acting as mentor to the young conductors who will be taking part in our May concert “Behind the Baton”.
