Our presentation
In the short first half our conductor Chris Stark will explain the story and introduce the characters with musical examples and after the interval we will perform the full one-hour opera. As the opera was written in French, we will have a screen showing an English translation so our audience can understand what the characters are singing.
Whether you are new to opera and curious about what it’s like or you’re already a fan, this will be a lovely early evening event.
