Mahler Symphony No. 1  – 4 flutes (2nd, 3rd, 4th also piccolo), 4 oboes (3rd also English horn), 4 clarinets (B♭, A, C) (3rd, 4th also E♭, 3rd also bass clarinet), 3 bassoons (3rd also contrabassoon), 7 horns (F), 4 trumpets (B♭, F), 3 trombones, tuba, 2 timpani, cymbals, triangle, tam-tam, bass drum, harp, strings

Rehearsals (all Sundays):

12 May            10am-1pm and 2-5pm.

Morning to include some time on tricky areas of the soloist’s concertos.

Afternoon will be Final of ERSO Soloist of the Year in pm.

19 May            2 – 5pm

2 June              10am-1pm and 2-5pm

9 June              2 – 5pm AT ST JOHNS.  Will include an hour where we showcase key aspects of the Mahler for local residents with commentary from Chris
